FOR SATURDAY TRAINING RUNS DURING PITTSBURGH MARATHON TRAINING SEASON JANUARY 4 - APRIL 25, 2020

SCRR will provide:

  • SCRR pacers for training groups at 30 second intervals
  • Hydration stop(s) on the routes at appropriate mileage for distances longer than 6 miles
  • Maps with turn by turn directions- please review before the run begins
  • The garage will remain open to allow for the 13:00 min/mile group running the longest distance  to return. The closing time will be announced and posted. If you plan to run longer, please sign out before closing time before continuing your run.


FOR SATURDAY RUNS FROM MAY THROUGH DECEMBER AND ALL THURSDAY RUNS

SCRR will provide:

  • Maps with turn by turn directions- with the distances being 3,6,8 and 10 miles on Saturdays and 3 and 5 miles on Thursdays 
  • A hydration stop for distance longer than 6 miles on Saturdays- this may be a loop back to the garage
  • The garage will remain open long enough for a 13:00 min/mile runner to return. The closing time will be announced and posted. If you plan to run longer, please sign out before closing time before continuing your run.
  • SCRR will not provide specific pacers for groups but will send groups out in pace ranges to allow runners to find similarly paced people to run with. 


Please pre-register for runs and sign in and out at runs.

We strongly encourage runners to carry hydration/nutrition with them for distances longer than  six miles even with provided hydration stops- needs vary with each runner and also with the weather.
